2002 srx snaped powervavle cable

OK so Ive found i have a snapped power valve cable its the third cinder on the right near the exhaust what would be the part # to get a new cable. Then how would i go about adjusting the cable after replacing it you guys allwase help me out i think this is gonna be my last question for a while.

Go to the Yamaha website in yamaha motor. You can look up Yamaha snowmobile parts for every year

8DF-1133F-10-00 longest cable,other two are the same length(tad shorter)

I must of read the yamaha manual a thousand times and still couldn't understand it. Thanks to Daman's earlier (linked) post it was easy. Did mine a couple of weeks ago.

You should of posted your instructions it in a new thread Daman. Would be easier to find. Either case thanks!
 
thanks daman and others i just wanted the part number to make shore the guy at the shop don't give me the wrong cable. and any advice to getting at the alen's on the side of the exhaust there a b!tch to get at.
 
ok so the guy at the shop had to order the cable but i bought some things wal i was there came to about 100

Nice oil,,is the grease low temp,yamaha has some nice grease cheaper then
$4.50 too i think.

got some work ahead of ya now. :)
 
yea man its low temp grease and if i pay maby 1 daller more its better to suport the local shops keep them in bizness we dont need a walmart tipe shop lol hording all the money
