reverse kit MM 700

Put reverse on 2000 MM 700, 151 track, 8 tooth. Kit came with 39/23 gears. Now sled revs to 9300 rpm. Will putting the stock 21 tooth small gear with the reverse 39 gear increase or decrease revs. Stock gearing is 21/40 with 141 track. Please advise.

i belive you need to add weight to the fly weights to bring rpm down

Geared to high, I'm at 18/39 with reverse to not cook my clutches or belt. That is if you ride in the powder and not hardpack.
