i got the price from the dealer. but duno if i should use genuine or not? thanks, ill look and see what the price is from the berring store. 47$ is alot of cash thease days.

Dealers are a rip off when it comes to bearings.Just take the old bearing in to any bearing dealer and they should be able to measure your old one and sell you a new one at a heck of alot cheaper then your dealer will. Went through this a couple years ago, had a speedo side bearing go out. It was in pieces, all I had was the outer portion which was broken in two places,no ball bearings and the inner ring and no numbers. They were still able match it just by taking measurements and the price was a whole lot cheaper.

I'm going to assume that your 01 will have the same bearings as my 98 and if so the speedo/clutch side is a UB205 or AS205 bearing, not very common and it is pricey but you should be able to find one at most any bearing dealer. The measurements for this one is 52mm OD and 25mm ID (.984") and it has either an integrated collar or a separate one.The chain case side is a standard 6205 one which should be available at most auto parts stores or a sled dealer.

i found a bering at napa for 20$ they didnt have a seal. i went to the yami dealerand he found a berring for 6.99. it had a plastic cap on both sides like the stock one does on 1 side. good deal guys!! thanks! 30$ cheeper.
