head question

On the 700 single pipe motors what year did they start putting blue heads on instead of the red heads.

the '98 srx triple triple was the firts and first with blue heads,nothing else to date had them.

single piped trips never had blue heads,red

I picked up a 99 SXr 700 it has a 1 piece head set up on it but it is Blue. It has not been painted either, It looks stock.

I've never seen a red head with blue heads. How are you so certain it's not repainted?

Never seen or heard of a blue mono headed triple either.

no I think all the single pipe triples are red heads, I'd say it was painted.

every mono head ive seen has been red the triple heads are blue

Sure it hasn't been painted? Someone could have easily taken it down to bare aluminum and painted it.

Yea thats been painted, I read blue head on a redhead and started thinking it had a Blue Peak Perf. head on it before the pic but thats a painted stocker.
