i just bought an 01 srx and the guy i bought it from tore down the top end and now i am about to try to put it back together without knowing how it came apart i need to know which power valve is which and which side is up also wondering what exhaust manifold goes with what cylinder any help or advice would be much appreciated

Used search, couldn't find anything for the manifold but did find a link from Damen that will get your power valves back together. Not sure if his response tells which way the bevel goes...so I'll tell you that part, they go down.

The valves go in the opossite of what you'd think., The longer side goes up (So they go in like this.... \__________]......)

Manifolds - they all slightly bend upwards
- PTO side (clutch side) bends in, towards the middle of the sled
- the center one has an extra (total of 3) spring clips - one for the hood sping/cable
- MAG side bends in, towards the middle of the sled
Powervalves - yes, the long side is on top.
- the two short cables are for the PTO and Center cylinder
- the long cable is for the MAG cylinder

the power/valves should not matter much...they all move at the same time and the same distance... just put the lenth of cable that fits and they sould all have the same amount of play in em... then just adjustem and your good to go...
