I was wondering if a set of 94-96 V-max 600 pipes will fit a 95 V-max 500?

I am pretty sure they will but I would call Larry at North Country Yamaha and speak with him (715-453-2626) He might even have a few set of pipes left over for those sleds.

aight now if i get a set of twin pipes what kind of clutching changes would i have to make?
You may want to talk with him on that too, most of the clutching that I have is for the 600 twins with pipes or 600 with a single gyt pipe. I would guess you need to fin out 1st at what RPM the pipes make the most HP and then make Primary and Secondary clutch changes to that....the 8ab weights ran good in the 600 twin with a 50/41 helix.

check the user clutching chart. there is one piped 500 posted on there. i know. i have been looking for a trail set up fer my sxr500 with stock pipe.

96 pipes
I know that the pipes that SLP makes are the same for 95 or 96 and 500 or 600. I think you can print out all the specs and settings needed right off their site too.
