I was wondering what an 80's or early 90's Phazer weight? Haven't had much luck finding specs for them on the web. Thanks!
443 lbs oil and fuel tank full. add 18 lbs for electric start models. sorry bout the original post! was working on primary clutch and had the weights on my mind. duh!

So that would be about .1 pounds. Seems kinda light to me?? Not talking the Star Trek Phazer.... Yamaha Phazer say about 1989 or 1990.
(need the total weight not the clutch weights...
Thanks.

So now I have a question about that... I have a MM 700, it is supposed to be 511 lbs dry weight but everyone tells me that is heavy yet the Phazer is 480... and the phazer is supposed to be so light. Does 30 lbs really make that big of a difference!!!
re-check my edited post. sorry bout the brain fart!

Manthe phazer sure seem a lot lighter than that ... especially when you're throwing it in a truck!

I should toss mine on digital scale at work some day. Its probibly under 400# dry, which makes the 443# wet sound about right, 8 gallons of gas and 2 quarts of oil is ~50#
