i have a 98 Yamaha SRX. the oil lamp is fully lit even with the oil full, anyone have issues like that, is my oil level sensor bad???

sensor is bad,i do believe there was a bulletin on this,remove it by pulling
it strait up and out of the bottle and get a new one.
