I tore apart the skid in my 2000 SRX. It's been long traveled with viper shock and has adjustable transfer rods. Well I didn't pay enough attention when I tore it apart but it looks like from old photos that the transfer rods were in the rear holes. It looks like that. When I put it back together like that there is little to no rear axle adjustability. It this is the case, then I'd need to probably not put the rear axle in until I have the skid bolted in.
Am I in the wrong hole? I did a couple searches but none were real clear on an answer.

I'm showing front D...
I think stock is the front hole but I wasn't sure if it needed to be shifted to the "back" hole for the long travel. I'm 1/2 assembled and I put it in the front. I don't know how the skid would go in when the rear axle has 1/4" of travel and not the full 2"....

well the a/m rods would only be able to fit in one of the two holes correct? because they are longer then stock?

if you have longer rods put in rear hole
now that would be a fight on my hands....

It is stock in the first holes for a 2000 if you have raised the rear of sled and want to use the same transfer rods You will have to make filler bushings and longer bolts for the bottom of the rods. And more stacking plastic washers on top for the increased gap.

rod position
The correct rod position is the back hole, just looked at my Viper skid which is the same skid as an SRX but with the longer travel. You shouldn't have any rear axle adjustment issues with the rods in the correct position, if you do then something else is wrong.

those skids are a dog to get back in. front bolts first, then the rear most, then the middle and your ret 2 go.
