I have quite a mutt but I know that if the temp light on my 99 SRX speedo blinks its a Trouble code type thing and mine has one long blink then 3 quick blinks and it keeps doing this sequence
What is this telling me?
Any help is appreciated

make sure the water temperature sensor is not unplug ....

Ill double check I may not even have my temp sender in it, So that 3 blinks is water temp???

yes i think it is ...its on the water rail on the cylinder heads
modsrx is right its water temp sending unit, found on the bottom side of the rail on the recoil side of engine, check as he said its plugged in, other then that its likely faulty if the sled isnt overheating.
