I was changing the chaincase oil in my two sleds this weekend and noticed some metal filings on the magnet of one of my dipsticks. The other sled had nothing. Is this something to be concerned about? The sled has 2000 miles on it.

Just normal wear you will see sludge(metal)on the magnets if you have any amount of mileage on it,it's hard to believe that your "other" sled has none.OnDaTrail said:I was changing the chaincase oil in my two sleds this weekend and noticed some metal filings on the magnet of one of my dipsticks. thats why it important to change regularly
If the one sled had the chain adjusted too tight it would wear more and show more debris.
