I have an 82 Bravo that I picked up to fix up for my 10 year old. The skid needed some attention which I addressed. I got it all greased up, had to make a spacer for one of the bogie's etc. I put it back in the machine, adjusted the track tension and took it for a ride. Upon riding it myself all seemed fine. When I had my son take it for his first ride in our field I noticed a clacking sound coming from the skid. When I looked at it I noticed that the two white crescent shaped guides that are at the top rear of the suspension where the cause. Essentially is what I was hearing was these guides hitting on the track clips and making the clacking noise. It's not bad but it definitely is there. I went back over the fiche pictures to make sure that I had everything installed correctly and it seems I do. Does anyone know if this is normal or do I have something out of adjustment?
Also the clips on the track or very worn. I will likely let my son run it this winter as it won't leave our field but would like to replace them this summer to preserve the track which looks to be in good shape. Has anyone replaced the clips? Where is a good source and how much of a chore is it?
