what power reeds are better carbon tech or boyesen and how much hp do they give. also what are thoughts on k&n air filters and how much hp do they give

Save the money on those items and put it into clutching. Better bang for the buck. Stock reeds are very good so there is minimal gain there...
Filters are only useful if you are riding in dirty conditions or racing. Using filters significantly changes the air flow rate and intake pressure, so you would need to rejet as well.

im sorry i did not intend to hurt anyones feelings i was just curious how much hp they give and i know clutching is better but im not sure how clutching works and i want easy hp

well id have to say boyesens are better by far thats what i run in my mtn viper and was a noticable difference from stock...i would guess around 4-5hp but alot better lowend and midrange

I've never tried the K&N filters but, I understand, you might actually lose hps with them, because you are now using hot or warm are from under the hood, instead of fresh cold air.
