i had a hauck v helix , now i have a H . what way to get better acceration
i dont know the angle on the H . pulls good down low then slacks off some :letitsnow

a steeper angled helix will upshift quicker than a shallower angled helix. problem with steeply angled helixs, is that they don't provide as much side force into the belt, so its easier for the belt to slip. also, if you go too steep, you can "over cam" your sled, and it will start overshifting. the shift curve will get ahead of the power curve of the engine, and you will drag the rpms down. there's kinda a fine line, or limit, as to how steep of an angle on the helix, that you can run for each sled. also, the type of riding you do, also determines what angled helix to use. what sled do you have and what is your main type of riding? post everything you know about your primary setup and current secondary setup. also post gearing.

well i took out the silver sec. spring and put in a red one that i got with the first c kit from hauck . it pulls great now , at 60 i hit it and it rips . this thing may be scary on the trails . how fast is it ? i could care less . up to 70, better be hanging on . it may be a very good thing i put the ohlins f shocks on it to match the air wave rear . i rarly use over half throttle on the trail , those trees come up fast at 60 in the woods
sled set up . boy rad valves , peak head , roler sec ,911 pri cover , thunder shift kit , ex can , simmons skis ,ex manifold spacer . lowers peak rpm but more tourqe.op rpm 7800 . it may be a 2up but it can move out . oh quad hid lighting , can you say its day light now , any one in front of me is in a shadow . but they really like to see way into the woods :die:
i would like to ride a stock redhead to see the diff . never rode this stock . i put the roller and a power up kit on it first .
a note a few years back . i put in MICROLON in it . a eng treatment , the i had to reclutch as the revs whent to 9000
