Hi wanted to put a 51/43 helix on my 01 srx. Was wondering what the part # from Yamaha was. If someone has one for sale let me know.

its the same one on a RX-1 or Apex.
You would be better off getting a bender or dalton.
Much more aggressive

So a 51/43 from Yamaha is not the same as a 51/43 from the others?? I thought they would be the same angle and have the similar results. I had a Dalton 51/43 on a previous SRX and just went and purchased on for another SRX I just bought but I got one from Yamaha thinking it would work the same.

Yamaha calls is a 51/43. I just asked this question last week. It is not as aggressive as a bender or dalton. I think Turk said the Yamaha helix shifts more like a 48/42 or something like that. I would get a bender.jaydaniels said:So a 51/43 from Yamaha is not the same as a 51/43 from the others?? I thought they would be the same angle and have the similar results. Thanks for the info. I'm actually looking to bring my rpm up a bit and have some better backshift so the RX-1 helix might work okay. I'm actually looking for less agressive setup for trail riding. I was running a Dalton 53/47 along with 8BU-00's and found I had no backshift.
