I have hauck hushers for the ole 600 sx here. I believe they are the same ones as the simmonscpr pipes (but from hauck). In the past when i have had bender pipes, they drop down maybe 1/2" - 3/4" and had a nice little "tray" to keep them in place too. I bought these pipes used and was sure if I got all the parts, or if this is normal? I'd hate to damage them as they look like they stick out quite a ways....any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

The pipes themselves fit in there pretty tight so I don't know how much play I have to pull them up which would be the ideal case. I am thinking I'll have to cut them although I am feeling a little hesitant in doing that. Why can't it just all go together perfectly?

you're missing the black rubber gasket that goes in the belly pan exit hole. put it in & then reinsert the silencers. that may solve your dilemma.

hmmmm....I think they must be MIA. I'll see what I can find. I was hoping these pipes would have come with that nice flange that the bender pipes have. My old 94 vmax 600 had a nice "tray" the flange sat in and it bolted to the chaincase, a pretty nice design.

I bought AAEN's from Hauck (I know different pipes), but they stuck down the same way out of the belly pan. I ended up taking a bit off of each to cut them even with each other with about 3/4" below the belly pan.

Did you have any kind of a base that they sat in or do they just individually exit the exhaust hole in the belly pan?

If you can't re-positoin them to fit correctly, cutting them should not be a concern. If they were stingers i'd say no, don't cut them but with silencers I don't think it will matter.

I am definitely missing that piece that rivets to the bottom of the pan. I'll check into that, as well as the missing gasket...then I will trim as required. Does anyone have this flange out there by chance? Worth a try. ;-)

I didn't have a base to set them in. I just reused the stock rubber gasket (according to the instructions). I was a pain dealing with Hauck, because they gave me the wrong directions (jetting and set up). So I had to give AAEN (maker of my pipes) a call to get everything I needed.
