ok guys, i'll probably just get a headlight cover, or make one, I dont want to spend like 25 bux on a bulb and then find out it won't shine that bright, blueblooded, you wouldn't happen to have a picture of it on your sled would you?

There are bulbs that have a very bright white light (the stock ones a bit yellow) that are much brighter. Sometimes it looks a little blue, but it is really white. The ones from Bluhm Enterprises are nice. PIAA makes some that are nice, and there are others as well.

I know there are lots of those PIA bulbs out there that appear to have a blue/white brighter light than a lot of those 55W stockers.

A headlight cover will cut the light output just like a blue bulb.

Oh.
For anyone that has any blue bulbs and does not like them, the blue coating can be removed with a razor blade. Scrape it off and then use steel wool to remove any residue.
