so do u guys run with yur heated carbs on or off ive heard both sides some always leave them on others always turn them off is it diffrent how it affects diffrent sleds like some run worse wen there on or off of visea-versa

I never ran with them, even in pretty cold days, and I did not feel anything wrong..but I heard is good to at least move the shutoff valve to the on position every once in a while, to prevent leaking or freezing.

Whenever its below freezing or if im riding in deep snow i always leave mine on.The last thing i want is my carbs to freeze and risk burning down a piston.

i had forgotten to turn mine on when it was -10f i made it 4 miles from home and had the mag side main jet ice up, causing extreme lean. thats why my 600 turned into a 700! i turn on the carb heaters when its in the single digits or lower, or in powder. just my .02

my mountain max carb heaters wasnt turned off since 2003. i had to many snowmobiles in the past that had problems freezing up so i just keep them on and nothing bad happened yet after 20000 km so there gonna stay on
