I have a 1996 vmax4 800. There is a metal vent cover right next to the secondary clutch which is held on by a plastic tab. Well the plastic tab broke and the metal vent cover fell against the secondary clutch while I was riding it. It rounded off a couple corners on the helix(see pictures). Will that cause my belt to wear faster or uneven or will it cause any other damage. I'm worried that my secondary clutch is not properly balanced anymore. Should I replace that helix or will it be alright. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it, it shouldnt cause any abnormal belt wear either.

It likely took minimal weight off. It also likely spread it out fairly even, so I would expect it to be still fairly balanced. You now have a cool 2-tone design.
