151X2.5 on my MSRX

Hi all! I want to put a 151X15X2.5 on my 98 MSRX is it possible? probably have to go down to a 7 or 8 tooth driver, what will I have to change for gearing/clutching and should I go with the skid relocation or rail extensions?

I personally like the relocation Idea!

2.5 aint going to happen without a drop and roll! you can do a 2", 2.52 pitch with your stock 8 tooth drivers. i would relocate half, and rail ext the rest. as it wont work moving the skid back 8". get the front arm back just behind the steering hoop where you can get a bolt at it easily, i think around 4". plot it out and you will see what i am referring to. when you get this far, let me know, and i will help you on gearing and clutching.
 
i got a 151X2.25 inch track with 2.52 pitch and 8 tooth drivers on my mountain venture. i had to relocate my suspention with hartmans longtrack kit. the 2.25 is close but it dont hit anything
 
Throw the stock skid out. I would not recommend pulling that skid back, an '00 or new MM/Mtn Viper maybe. Find yourself a cat,polaris or doo mountain skid. It will save you 20+ pounds and will work alot better in the deep....................SRXtreme
