dayco belt

i was wondering if u guys had any excperiance with a dayco belt's are they good or crap or what is a good belt for the srx 700

Dayco's are great belts.

IME, better than OEM, and sometimes OEM on other brands.

i have a friend who uses those exclusivly on a 2000 thunder cat with 210 hp!they work fine for him!

yea the vip around here sells them that's why i was asking. like 45 bucks i think

The guy I work with who runs an AC Thundercat that's got some mods (supposedly around 200 hp) always runs them.

I stick with stock 8DN. I had an OEM equivalent on my 96xt go pretty quick and it wasn't pretty.

I just replaced the original belt on my '98 XTC two seasons ago,still good(spare)but just for peice of mind.

I have always used Gates Xtreme belts with great success and longevity on race sleds as well as trail sleds, but if thats not an option I would go to OEM
