mm 700 idle

ive got a 97 mm 700. seems to idle funny every so often. idles high and sputerrs. almost like throttle cable is stuck open. any ideas.

Sounds like idle hang. Caused by dirty fuel screws, or to lean on the fuel screws..

i know its not that. just put new jets in. the guy i bought it from said he had that problem. i noticed that there is zero slack in the throttle cable. has prob a 4inch riser on it. cables pulle very tight. could this be the prob. acts like tors is kikin in. when its idling high, you cant even give it gas. it does nothing.

30 second job to bypass tors & see if it,s your issue.
