One cylinder running leaner than the other?

I put 82 miles on my Vmax last night. Usually low to mid range throttle a few short full blasts here and there.

Today I looked at my spark plugs to see how they faired. I was running it rich- mixed gas + oil pump. For first tank of the year.

My right spark plug looked a little dark (rich) my left, the post was kinda white got a little darker going toward the edge but noticeably leaner than the right one. Last year when I bought this the left cylinder burnt up so I'm a little concerned. I did put about 275 on the rebuild last year seemed to be a little similar color to the plugs maybe the left a little leaner looking. Did I mess a carb up when I cleaned it? Also I idled it today and sprayed some ether to see if it was drawing air in, I didn't notice anything. Looked at the plugs again they were both rich looking after the idle.

I thought maybe I didn't clean the needle jet good enough? Or need a new one?

Please you thoughts.

Thank you,

I did spray ether while it was idling didn't rev or anything. Thats probably a piss poor test. ???

Low, Mid Top how do I do that?

Thanks I appreciate it.

look in the tech section...mr viper explain everything how to do it ..... if they are the same carb they put in srx check the main jet size and the clip on needle to make sure they are set the same way
