I need to remove the front axle(drive sprockets).Is there anyway I can do this without removing the brake caliper,parking brake and the entire Drive Chain Housing?(1999 V-Max500SX)

if it only has 2 drivers you can leave the chain case on. if it has 4 drivers you have no choice but to remove the chaincase.
on my 2001 sx500r it only had 2 drivers instead of 4 like the 6-700cc sleds have. i was able to get the drive axle out without removing the entire chaincase.
