Has anyone used simmons cpr pipes on a yamaha triple? I've looked online and i can't find anything on them. I'm also wondering how loud they are and if they will fit with reverse. Thanks
Search Simons. Been covered a lot. same pipes as early Hauck,s.

Yeah, I had them on a MM and a Vmax 700 with elec start, to me they weren't that loud, but others may feel differently. Great trail pipes, they were good in the mtns too, until they started to heat soak.

Jetting from CPR Simons:
'00 700 SX-R for 0-2000ft and 0* safe
147.5 mains
needle clip pos #4 w/both washers underneath
50 pilots
2-1/4 to 2-1/2 turns on fuel screws
run the pipes at 9000-9200 rpm
I will 2nd that Simons service sucks. I called him (Jeff) like 5 times, before he gave in and told me the jetting. After he told me the jetting spec, he just hung up on me. I won't ever buy anything from him.....never.

did he happen to give you the clutching? i think if i was going to turn the pilots out that far i would go up 1 size.

That was what he told me for jetting. What I did on that sled, was everything that he said, except i went to 2-1/4 turns out vs the 2-1/2 that he had said. Sled still gurgled alot and could probably have fuel screws turned in to 2 turns out and possibly raise the needles only 1/2 clip vs 1 clip. I didn't ask about any clutching. He probably wouldn't tell me that anyhow.
I'm haveing the same problem with jeff simmons he's a dick he charged me 20bucks to ship me a jet kit and it took a week... as for clutching he will try to sell you a heavy hitter clutch kit for 325 you can get it way cheeper elswer...

I have a set of CPR pipes on my 700sx. I bought them used. Jeff wouldn't talk to me about jetting a clutching, only to say that he would sell me a jetting kit and the Heavy Hitters clutch kit. I'm looking for springs for the pipes as some are missing, after trying to talk to him about jetting & clutching, I hate to buy from him. Does anybody know where I can get exhaust springs from?
