i bought a 911 cap off ebay, went to install the sleeve on the post and it slides on fairly easy,. What keeps that thing on there, all i got was a cap and a sleeve, is there suppose to be a special washer to fit over the clutch bolt to keep it from coming off? thanks, lyle

Lyle..I run one on my RX-1. There should be a large chrome washer that fits over top the sliding bushing . You should be able to rig something up to work. You just need a washer large enuff to keep the bushing in place & with a centre hole large enuff so that the clutch bolt will fit thru it.

I never noticed any difference in performance tho it claims the clutch does shift smoother. I got mine for $25. The large washer that fits over the bushhing has a slight counter sunk design so the bottom sits flush with the top of the clutch while the top of the washer sits flush with the top of the clutch. I think a wide heavy duty stainless washer that sits flush with the top of the primary clutch should work! Maybe call Hi-tech & see what they want for the part?
