Just got my seat done, tell me what you think. I will get some more pics once I get it off the trailer. I have not rode it yet but it feels awesome and the price was right.

The guy charged me $175 and it was done in a couple of days. I Thought it was a very good price for what I got. I just got real lucky that the guy just so happened to live about five mins from my house. If you want his contact number I can give it to you.

For the quality of work and the amount of rise thats a deal when compared to a $500 Boss seat.

Let us know what you do with the wind at high speed. I raised the Viper seat about that much and love it for everything except tight cornering and high speed. The wind kills me at high speed even with a an '03 windshield. Tight cornering you just have to move farther off the seat like in the old days.

I would guess no more then a pound. I felt the block of foam before he used it and is was light. All he did was add some foam to the original seat. The foam is stiff but still has some give. That is excatly what I thought, much cheaper then a Boss. I gave him a picture of a boss seat on a srx and asked if he could do that, and he said no problem.

I got my first ride with the new seat and let me tell you how much I love the new seat! Everyone should do this mod. It makes riding so much easier. When the big bumps come and you go to stand you are allready standing. It is unbelieveable how much easier on the body it is to ride. And in the tight corners I thought it also helped because it felt like I colud put more weight on the inside ski because it is easier to slide up and lean it over. I just loved the new seat and at 1/3 the price of a Boss seat you can't go wrong!

yeah I got the 2" riser and the pivot block so about 3" total. I also moved them forward about 3"
