98 Vmax600 heat exchanger hole

Has anyone had luck with merely by-passing the front exchanger and just using the side ones? Some sleds only have the side ones and it might be enough.

It would never cool with just the side coolers and rear crossover tube,if yours is bad you need to get it welded or replace.

Thanks, I took the track off last night and am on my way today to have it welded up. I figured it would overheat but was not sure. This way it is fixed right.
