was always curious on the legit top speed of a stock 2001 srx 700, i went 110 gps'd, don't think i topped it out, but maybe for how much i weigh, 225lbs with gear.

you think rider weight plays a significant role in speed loss? not saying i'm a huge dude, but lets compare me on it at 225 versus my buddy who is 170... huge difference?

Check with Bischof, because I dont think he has been able to get his SX700 over 47mph going downhill with a tail wind!!

I think a SRX that is bone stock no clutching or gearing changes is going to be 110 to 115MPH. Start playing with the suspension and a few mods and you can up that from anywhere from 115 to 125mph.

YOU SHOULD SEE WHAT A 130 POUND DRIVER WILL DO FOR YA. GUYS, KEEP IN MIND , THE SRX WAS GEARED FOR 110/112. 23/38. PERFECT WORLD HERE. ANYWAYS THATS VERY FAST WITH A 225 POUND DRIVER. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Well it depends if your in perfect conditions and run out of gear and start to over rev it will run higher mph and i mean perfect condition's.

Next year i'm going to do something with my rear suspension, either long travel it with my existing shocks rebuilt or put a whole other skid in there. i like how it is now, never had the luxury to ride a long travelled sled for more then about 3 miles, so i wouldn't know what the long travel feels like, but i know its better then what i got under there.

Are those proaction rear suspensions as strong as they are heavy besides the W-arms, i'm talkin about the rails etc.
