yeah i just had them out but what should i do blow air through them or what
Looking in them and shaking them should be enough for the pipes. The can will be a little more difficult but shake it a bunch and keep looking in it for any nesting type debris. Don't spend too much time on this though, it's a long shot.
At 10,000 Km's your getting into clutch rebuild area(sheave bushings). Check the carbs out for jetting(I would leave them out until after you post and get feedback). check the exhaust for restrictions. If you still have the old engine parts, some pics may be helpful.

ok i pulled the carbs apart and found another main jet had worked its way out thats the second one now different carb then first time i guess the guy didnt tighten them atleast i hope thats why they come out but now i cheecked all of them so should be good after putting it back in place the sled has much more power but still it bogs down to 7000 at wide open throttle the jet sizes are 170 on pto side then 165 on middle and mag side pilot jets are 50's

Ive never had a main jet fall out on me.If you snug them up they should never come loose.Did you check your plug color at wide open throttle? This will tell you if your rich or lean on the mains.

i cant really get an accurate reading right now as a have a ton of oil goin through for break-in so the plugs are just oily

why the need for such fat jets? no need to go near that fat, even w/cold air kit. are there other mods done to the sled? i'm wondering, if you're washing off too much lubrication, from too much gas coming in and that's why it burnt down on you? what's your elevation and riding temps?
were there extra holes cut in the airbox lid?

well as far as i know its the cold air kit and just a bit of clutching right know temps are around -30 but usually we would be riding around -20 and yeah i thought that was some pretty heavy jetting whats stock jetting supposed to be or what would you recommend to run with a cold air kit... oh and i believe the guy who had this sled previously had a 5000 dollar hauck racing kit on it seein as he is know advertising it for sale, so i think he just took it off and put all the stock stuff back on

on the airbox lid, there should be a factory slot in it....approx 1" wide and like 8" long. is there anymore holes/slots in the airbox top, other than the factory slot?
email the pics to me, put the thread link in the email too please, will speed things up for me. Include the old piston pics. Should have them up around 8-8:30
