Does anyone know the box stock times these run? I think the 01, 02s might have been quicker I thought they were about 12.0 qtr.......Just like your uncles 70 Chevelle and Buick grand nationals these get faster every yr in peoples imagination, great sleds if your on a smooth trail, but with the lighter new sleds somethings got to be quicker. Love Yamahas but looking for a little reality. Oh Buick GNs only did 14.3 great for the time but not mind blowing now.
Every year the shoot out conditions change so you really can't compare year to year it's like compaing apples to oranges.Yes the srx is fast but I'm shure if you take some current sleds and run them in the conditions the 01 srx ran back then they would run quite a bit faster then the srx.
