I took the chain case apart. its kinda loose but something is holding t on. There are some C-clips on the beings. But I dont know if i take them off. I took the nuts off the secondary side of the jack shaft and its kinda loose now. But something else is holding it in and i cant figure out what.

just the four bolts that hold it to the sled ...should just come off .....did you remove the e brake ? and rotar ? dont remove the clips on bearings

yes, like it says above, the brake disk comes off along with the chaincase...

as for the emergency brake, merely remove the cable at the chaincase and tie the cable out of the way... (the e-brake unit will then also come off with the chaincase)

also

put the nuts back onto the secondary side bearing holer until you get the case off... you are trying to pull the case off but nothing is holding the jackshaft firmly in place for you...

The speedo part was riveted onto the secondary side with what looked like factor rivets... Took me a while to figure it out but i popped them off with a air hammer.
