I might have a scrap-through on my front heat exchanger (I didn't get my track tightened down enough and had some racheting last weekend, I'll blame ADHD, if you'll let me). But I also found a leak at the thermostat housing as well that I've fixed. I haven't ridden again since I discovered the leak. If it turns out to be the front heat exchanger, what model did that most likely come off of? I looked up the part, and cannot find one listed for my sled (98 Vmax 700sx). I'm hoping it's just the leak at the thermostat housing. It's not losing alot of coolant yet. I had to only add a little after 2 days (8 oz. maybe).

I had to replace the front heat exchanger on my MM700. It was a bugger trying to find the proper one. As far as I could tell there are 2 different ones. The difference is how the in and out tubes are placed. If you know a good aluminum welder, I would say try to get yours repaired.
there are three different front heat exchangers,

Thanks. I'll ride it some this weekend. See if the leak is gone.
