That would be the 1998-99 Formula Z 670 called the ARC in 98 then in 99 called the ARM suspension

Yes, the Formula z 580 has the SC10, only the 670 version had the ARM/ ARC
The first gen had different stops, and I think they messed around with rising and falling rate type suspension ont he 3 different SC10 versions. Which one is which I could not say.

The 96 Formula Z had an SC-10 with the ACM not the ARM or ARC.

Is that a 580 if it has the sc10? I think there was a 670 formula Z that had the non boivin suspension. The 670 FZ in a couple years had the boivin designed whatever they want to call it suspension. I was pretty into doo's at that time, and nearly bought a 96 Formula z 580, that had an SC10 in it.

583 (RAVE)
In 1996 the only Formula Z, was a 583. The Formula SS had the 670 in it.

The SC-10 II was a great improvement over the SC-10, and the SC-10 III was an additional improvement (although not as big IMHO) over the SC-10 II.

Ok, that makes sence because the sled you have was what I almost bought new back in 96. I test rode one and was >< this close to buying one like a week into the season. It must have been in like 98 when the FZ670 was made with the boivin skid. I recall that sled to be maroon, with yellow trailing arms, and the 670 only had that skid while the 583 had the sc10.
