will a 97 600sx motor bolt right in a 500sxr chassis? will the stator wiring be the same or will I have to take the stator off the 500? thanks for any input
I purchased a new 98 600 twin and bolted it directly into a 2001 SXR500. The engine came with a new wiring harness that I used. The 600 I used had the TPS sensor on the carbs. This requires additional wires in the harness. Not sure if your engine will require these. The engine dropped right in and should use the same motor mounts and exhaust.
