How would these two sleds compare to either pro and cons or would one totally beat the other. Sled 1:2002 Yamaha VIPER SX-700 - $3950 have owned since '03 (adult ridden exclusively, never beat on, inside stored since new). Rocket-ship triple 700 two-stoke performance with factory power valves, blue and black, very low miles, starts right up and runs like brand new. Studded track not perfect, but has many miles left to go.Factory Fox shocks, electric helmet faceshield wiring in place., starts right up and runs like brand new. Sled 2 2002 SRX listed on with Boivin Expert Xrear and widened and raised front end with Elka shocks, reverse, great condition.

I like the SRX but am new to sledding. Will be going on trails and maybe a little boondocking. mostly traisl.

okey first for the viper there was no factory fox shocks back then, way over priced,& factory track was junk to begin with.studs or not.slower
the srx has a better suspension in it,reverse, & it's faster & cheaper.(i know what sled your talking about)..the srx all the way.no questions asked.

Thanks SRX B, thats what I thought. The Viper seller was saying that the viper would out handle it and I didnnt realy beleive him. He said once it's raised it would be "squirlly " and suck gas..

there both going to suck gas.you'll just have more fun doing it on the srx...the srx with a long travel & expert-x wont handle(corner) as good as a low travel (if you will??) srx but it will take the bumps better.

i know the srx your talking about too... Haven't seen it up close and personal but on TY and it looks sick...I have a viper and would jump at that srx

there both nice sleds but the vip;er is way over priced i ot my 02 viper mint shape 3800 miles new track with only 100 miles on it for 2000
