I know its not a Yamaha, but here's the sled I gave up on a SX 600R for.
Its an '01 Polaris 600 XC EDGE X.
Not bad for $2500 Id say...(that includes $900 trade-in that I got for my Phazer)

Actually, for '02 Polaris made a blue one.
My mother rides one, and its pretty much identical to the one I have except its blue.
You are right it is a nice ride, even if its not exactly what I was in the market for. Its not as if Im going to be singing the blues either. I have spoken to a lot of Polaris die-hards who have told me, "when you get ready to go back to a Yamaha, let me know! I want to buy that sled!" I guess its a pretty highly sought after sled, from what Ive heard it was quite a hot sled back in '01. It was made to go up aganst the Ski-Doo MXz ZXs, I guess thats why its got the yellow on it...
I figure what the heck, ride it for a few years and then try to find a good used SX Viper. Im hoping that now that the RS Vector is out that a lot of people will be trading their Vipers in. Seems like a Viper can be made to be a pretty wicked sled with some very minor mods.
Anyways, keep the opinions coming!
