Who else here, other than Valin, has/Is running TM38's on an SRX? I've heard very good things about them. I have also heard of people running into oil pump cable issues. What cables have you guys run. I was leaning towards a Bender, I'm not aware of how well they work. I will be using a rack of 38's, So any cable help would be great! I've done some reading and I've got some Baseline jetting written down, but any suggestions would be great. (mods are below) My current jetting is 155/45. I was think of using 45 pilots, and starting with 330's?!?!?!?!?!? What are/have you guys run for needle clip position?

I would like to know if there are any jetting comparison charts. Example: 155= 310. 157.5=320. 160=330.... ECT. I doubt there is anything like this, but it would be nice!

How many of you guys are running single carbs vs. Rack?

Thanks, Nik!

Start with 340 mains. You could try 45's for pilots, but I bet you'll end up with 40's. Start with the needle in the middle.

I run an XCR800 throttle cable, and keep the SRX oil cable. Just tie wrap the oil cable from the XCR800 cable anywhere out of the way. Run a MachZ choke cable.

get a mikuni slide rule ( bender sells them ). it shows exactly what your looking for.

OMG, I'm getting one FOR SURE!

Bob to the rescue!

the mikuni slide rule works great when using an air density gauge to jet for the day when racing. only hex jets, as found in the tm38's, can be used in a linear equation to correct jetting for conditions, however round jets cannot. you need the slide rule if running round jets to find the hex equivilant before doing your math & making a jetting change.
