I have the skid out of my exciter and was checking the suspension over and I noticed that the middle wheel on the rear axle was limiting the rear most suspension to only a few inches of travel, because that middle wheel comes into contact with the suspension.
I was woundering if anyone has removed that middle wheel for more suspension travel or is there a reason that the wheel is suposed to bottom out on parts of the suspension?

I too recently had my skid out of my 91 exciter 2. It seems that without the suspension bolted into the rear of the tunnel you get this problem. With mine bolted into the sled I don't have this problem. The mounts seem to keep the rear suspension held up and avoids this. Once you get it back in the sled I don't think you will hav e an issue, if so you might have something set up wrong.

Never mind. I put my rail extensions on for my 136 track and thus moving my axle back, there are no more clearence issues.

I got a killer deal on mine off of ebay for like $30shipped. Western Power Sports sells them for almost any sled out there and i think they run about $80ish from them.
