So, making nice even compression across all 3 cylinders, getting good spark, sled turns over nicely, used OLD plugs but they had maybe 500M on them
Now, I did use alot if lube when assembling, so when I pulled them they were pretty oily...
I completely drained the fuel tank last fall, and added 5 gals of fresh premium today .
Aside from my next obvious step of checking carbs, any other recommendations?
I bought 3 fresh BR9ESs....to feed new plugs to it, but Im not running my new 9ECS until its running...so we'll see what the new plugs do
Also, if the fuel system was dry, do I need to possibly add premix to the fuel pump to prime it?
How many pulls should it take to throw all the extra oil from assembly to the plugs?

You lost the prime on your fuel pump. Just add a little pre-mix to each cylinder, may take a few times. It'll be easier than pulling it till you pass out, lol.

Simple test...
Put a table spoon or two of some pre-mix fuel down each jug, replace plugs, and see if it fires... if it does you pretty much know you lost prime. The exact same thing has happened to me two years in a row after letting my sled run dry of fuel. (I will never do that again) It took about 6 or 7 times with fuel down the jogs for it to stay running.
Let us know when it comes back to life!

yeah ndid that x 10...fires every time
Pulled the airbox, checked pump, full of premix....removed the lines to carbs, and pulled it over, spit fuel mix from every line.
So, pump is peimed and sending fuel....mt guess is its not gettng past the carbs
Now, Im going to check for the guide to cleaning carbs, but Id appreciate some tips/tricks

Make sure you reeds block, Boots are all sealed up tight. Make sure your choke is set properly, fully opening and closing. Throttle linkage is not too tight. Also are your plugs wet when you have pulled it over a few time's??

Nothing was moved/changed at all with regards to airbox, reeds, throttle choke etc, it ran fine at the end of last year, so my focus is on the carbs right now. I will keep that in mind during re-assembly
Maybe because the fuel system was dry, the fuel dried up or something clogged my jets....we'll see one I crack the carbs, just printed the how to
As it stands, it runs when fuel is poured down the cyls, until the fuel is used up. There is fresh fuel/oil mix getting to each carb, so thats where the issue seems to be

I thought you rebuilt the top end?? So you would have removed the air box and carbs/linkages...ect when doing that..
You put the pistons in the right direction right? Arrow to the exhaust side. Buddy of mine did that on a golf cart motor once.
IF it's firing on the fuel you put in the plug holes it sounds like a fuel delivery problem. Did you connect the Pulse line from the crank case back to the Fuel Pump?? Did you check the float bowls to see if there was is Fuel in them? If there is I'm guessing there is to much oil in the Fuel you premixed. Dump that fuel and go with strait gas. When you go to start it leave the Air box off and Spray fuel threw the carbs to get it fired.

Naw, tope end assembly is fine, and i didnt have to remove the carbs or anything to change the pistons/rings etc.
None the less, shes running nicely now...ended up cleaning the carbs, even though they were spotless, blasted some air through just to be sure. I also dried up the fuel mixture that was in the pump, and added some fresh premix and closed it back up.
I poured some extra gas down each cylinder and fired it up, stayed running nicely... Now, if any of you have been follwing my reverse mod, I am now worried becasue there is alot of drag on the track, with track very loose... My brake looks "funny" to me, but I will also have to check chain tension etc
