Good sustainable power. I saw the first thread....this site is at an all time low unfortunately. I really hope it comes around. Does this mean that you have decided not to sell the sled and you are gonna run it on the ice this year?

Yes I'm going to keep it. It's worth more then I can get for it. Plus i didn't put all this time into it for someone else to reap the benifits. LOL

Do you have a race sled?
No race sled right now
Used to have a 780 trail sled that Don built. Took it to many a hill climb and was competitive but in the end you always come up against either someone running a full race motor or someone cheating so you can't expect to win under those conditions.
Working on somewhat of a joint project race sled right now that my son will hopefully pilot. Just takes a lot of time, effort and $$ to get everything together.... you know the story. We shall see!
Good luck on the ice,
Matt

Ya I hear ya. That's why i stopped trying to race my trail sled. I always did pretty good and then I'd have to race a race sled and that's not fun. So I said screw it and bought a race sled to race. Now my trail sled is just that. We still play on the lake or on a open road but when I want to race I bring out this sled.
The best part is people hate getting beat by a 700.
Lol!
Sounds like you and I both learned the same lesson the same way!
