I just bought a 2009 Phazer Mountain. The sled will be riden mostly in Michigan's upper penninsula so I had the dealer change the clutch weights for Michigans lower altitude. I didn't have them change the gearing though. Is that a big deal? The dealer warned me that i could end up blowing my engine if i wasn't careful. That suprised me because I thought that when you went from a high altitude to a low altitude the only things you have to change is clutch weights and jets. Since its fuel injected there obviously aren't any jets to change. Also, the owners manual says that I need to do a oil and filter change after the first 500 miles. Since the oil filter on the phazer is a pain in the butt to get at, would it be a big deal to change just the oil at 500 miles and then change the filter at the end of the year?
