Just curious if anyone has some advice. After you pull on the starter rope on my 02 MM700 you have to shake it and it barely goes back in. Just curious if there is anything that I can adjust, or what part I need to replace? Hopefully it isn't anything serious or spendy. Thanks in advance...

you more than likely have a weak return spring or have some worn out parts. There are several recoil assemblies laying around and I am sure alot of people will have one to sell you in the classifieds.
You could take yours off and see whats wrong with it. Maybe it just needs to be cleaned and greased up. If you need parts, It might be over a week before you got them and less then a week if you bought a recoil from somebody on here. A new recoil assembly is alot of money!!!

it's not that costly.I picked up a brand new assembly last year for the SRX and it was in the area of $100.The re-coil on my SXR is acting up,might have to order one for it to.
