First question how many miles have you guys gitten out of the lower chain case bearing. My wifes Viper has 6800 miles on it and thinking it maybe time to change them.I grease the clutch side one every yr so that one is good.Next question is do you have to completely remove chain case to get these bearing out? I have the cover off now wondering how much farther I need to go.I did my RX-1 last yr but that was after drive shaft snapped in two pieces. So I had to take it all apart. Thanks

You'll should remove the case.....when you'r in there, change those oil seals for sure....

they should last a loong time because they get some oil from the case..

How many miles do you think those bearings will go no sign of anything going bad but don't like having to get towed or ruining a trip from lack of maintanence.

its one of those "who knows" things, if they are stock with that many miles, so it when its in your garage, not when they fail on you out on the trail

Going to take them out and replace so I will let you all know what they looked like.
The chaincase side are the cheap ones to replace.......
