Im having my track studded this week and wanted to know if I should get a tunnel protector for it. I read that it comes with a stock one but wasnt sure if people put some added protection under there. I havent even seen on made for my sled though.

If you are just studding a 1.25 track you don't need ant thing but the stock protectors. I have heard guys adding a 1.8 plastic shim, but mine don't even come close to the tunnel, 1.4 inch studs. maxdlx
