In the process of installing a reverse kit on my 01sxr700, what is the best top gear to put into the sled?
Sled has a 1 1/4 track and stock drivers and clutching.

I would go down 1 tooth from stock. I believe its a 21? Before I clutched my 01 sxr 700, I geared down 1 tooth and actually gained about 3mph on top end along with the improvement in acelleration. After I clutched it along with a team roller secondary I went down to a 19 top with stock bottom with a shorter chain. Sled then topped out at 103 to 105 on speedo in perfect conditions and was able to beat up on some 800 twins corner to corner.
