EX 440, 1978, with 77 carb

I'm running a slide carb off a 77 ex440, on my 78 ex, question is, I'm not running the stock air box, but instead running a K&N setup. I have the carb set to stock, the way it should be with the stock air box, but what do you think I should do as far as main jetting, with the K&N filter? It has a 150 main in it now. Thanks
 

Bernie run it with the air box or you will hurt the motor, left side piston will burn down no matter how you jet it that carb is finicky. Or just call me friday at home.. Race on 871exciter..

After I posted this, I was sort of thinking the same thing. thanks for the info.
 
I think I will be at morelands on saturday night races jan 3 hope to see you there sleds running good try to get some testing in..

I don't think we are going to make it, but my neighbor, Mark (14) said he may make it. Good luck and be safe.
