Avalanche!!

That's right an avalanche, but this one was in the coulee's of ND.

I started riding the Montana mountains the winter of 1985/86. In all the years since, I have never seen the avalanche risk as high, for as long, and for as early as it is this year. The tourist masses have not started to arrive yet since the high country season does not really get going until mid Jan. This could be a very bad year. Stock sleds are getting places that sleds should not go. Combined with these conditions................
 
Sorry SXlover. Didn't mean to jack your thread. Great post and a great pic. Man, when the coulees are sliding, makes you wonder whats coming next.
 
Talkin 2-4 inches today and 2-4 tonight in central ND and 1-2 today and 3-5 tonight in northern ND. Currently in a winter storm warning. Im just shy of 700 miles.
