oil pump

how do i prime the oil pump on a 700 red head i found how to do it with a twin is it the same process?

it's a PITA on a red head,need to remove the carbs to do it easly,there's a bleed bolt on top of the pump remove that and allow oil to drain..

i would just mix some premix up dump that in and ride for a wile,it'll bleed
it's self,mark the oil bottle and watch for it to go down..
