I just put new rails on my srx and now the front of the track is touching the ground and the back is up a bit and when it launched the skis come off the ground allot. If I tightened the limiter straps would that fix my problem?

Tighten up the limiter straps should get the skid up in front.
You may want to check the new rails to make sure you got everything in the right place. Just a thot

We Tightened the tension on the front spring. Im thinking that might have taken all the sag out of the front and caused it to sit higher. Is there any draw back to having the front sit like this?

start off with a 50/50 spacing on your transfer rods when you are sitting on the sled.Open up more=more transfer(ski's pointing to the clouds).Reduce spacing and your suspension will not squat back as much, thus your ski's will remain more planted. You'll have to experiment until you get it where u want.I got mine opened up a little more because I like when my ski's lift when I pin it...lol.

There are reports of fishtailing when you run the center preload high with the strap loose but it's really one of those things thats different for each rider. you'll have to try it. That and you run the chance of pushing in the corners.

wont more pressure on front of skid wear slides out quicker big problem with srx's stabbing front of track in my expierence

I tried slacking the limiter straps right off. Nothing happen. Then I tightened them right up. Nothing happen. The back of the track is still 1 1/2" off the ground with out me sitting on it. When I sit on it it goes down maybe 1/2"

Sounds like you need to start from scratch on the suspension set-up.... maybe take some CLEAR pictures of what you have now, and someone may be able to help... that or hold your sled up to the computer so we can see it. :jump:

Going to be hard for us to figure it out with no information.
